The Lalit Kala Akademi is quite confident about its outcome as this being our first attempt in the pursuit of excellence. On the basis of its outcome the Akademi will certainly consider and formulate to have such activities from SAARC Nations on regular basis. These activities will not be restricted to India but will take such events to other SAARC nations provided the respective countries governments come forward to associate with the National Academy/Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
It will not be out of mention to acknowledge the credits of my Indian Missions in these countries as well as the Foreign Missions in India for their cooperation an support to materialize the event. My special regards goes to Mr. Ashok Aggarwal, Assistant Secretary, Lalit Kala Akademi who has formulated this project in strengthening the cultural relations with the various SAARC Nations. I also acknowledge the hectic task handled by my colleagues in the Akademi. |
