20 Modern Indian Masters from Assam and elsewhere in India', a group show curated by Johny ML and Kishor Kumar Das, jointly presented by Lalit Kala Akademi, Guwahati Artists' Guild and Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra was inaugurated by B Kalyan Chakravarthy, Principal Secretary of Culture, Govt of Assam at Kalakshetra Auditorium on 11th August 2023. Two hundred people from different walks of life attended the exhibition opening. The show that features artists such as V. S. Gaitonde, Ramkumar, K K Hebbar, N.S. Bendre, M.F. Husain, S.H. Raza, Benu Misra, Neel Pawan Baruah, Hemangini Bordoloi and show on will be on view till 18th August 2023. Sudarshan Thakur, Secretary of SSK, Dr. Dilip Tripathy, Program Officer LKA and curators spoke on the inaugural function.
