Title of Work: Cherry Blossoms

Of late I have been working with clothes, as I find it a very symbolic means of expression. Someone can fit into it; children can hide behind it. It even has a lot to do with gender. Since I like to experiment I came across the idea of adding fruit to clothes since it too, has a quality of blossoming. It reflects a process of transformation in my art, a combination of beauty and even sadness. I am a print maker and for me each work is a satisfaction of having done a day’s work well. The medium continues to hold my interest particularly in the surprise I encounter with each colour application and its end result. .
