Title of Work: Wake Up

From pottery to ceramics, my art has been an experimentation with mediums. Finally, I have settled to working in ceramics because it has cultivated in me a disciplined background. The popular notion that ceramics is fragile has been dispensed with in my art as I hang, weld in other metals, fire, and yet have never had to face the breaking of my final sculpture. As art, it is malleable, and I can treat it with chisels, hammers. The broken off pieces are not rejects because I use them to create an ongoing series which I call’ ‘Fluke Series’ as they are accidental appearances and contain all the joys of a pleasant surprise.
