“This is neither a singular work, nor a recent one. It is something that has been haunting my art ever since my days as a collegian. My work is a personal look at the five elements of nature. I have been working on this theme through various mediums. I started with charcoal drawing. Then I used colour to add an introspective element and texture to the work. So you can say that the work you see has been taking shape in my studio for the last twelve years.”
